他人且操此權、況我乎、然我不為也、寧凡事容忍、免阻基督福音、豈不知事聖事者食諸殿、侍祭壇者與於壇乎、主命宣福音者、以福音而生亦然、此權我皆未行之、今書此、非欲爾如是待我、蓋我寧死、不使我所詡者歸於虛也、夫我宣福音、無可自詡、不得已耳、若不宣之、則禍矣、若我有志為之、則有賞、即非我志、其任已託於我、然則我之賞維何、即宣福音、使人不費而得之、免我盡用福音之權也、

貸金而取利息、斯人豈得生存乎、必不得生存也、既行此可惡之事、必至死亡、流血之罪、歸於其身、

不貸金以權子母、不受賄而害無辜、若此之人、永不動搖兮、

貸金不取利息、禁手作惡、以誠實鞫兩造、

曰、定賦之外毋索、有軍士問曰、我當何為、曰、毋強暴、毋誣詐、惟安爾餉、○
