“ We will give it back,” they said.“ And we will not demand anything more from them. We will do as you say.” Then I summoned the priests and made the nobles and officials take an oath to do what they had promised.

“ We’ll give it back,” they said.“ And we won’t require anything more from them. We’ll do exactly as you say.” Then I sent for the priests. I made the nobles and officials promise to do what they had said.

Then they said,“ We will restore these and require nothing from them. We will do as you say.” And I called the priests and made them swear to do as they had promised.

They replied,“ We will give back everything and demand nothing more from the people. We will do as you say.” Then I called the priests and made the nobles and officials swear to do what they had promised.

They responded,“ We will return these things and require nothing more from them. We will do as you say.” So I summoned the priests and made everyone take an oath to do this.

Then they said,“ We will give it back and will require nothing from them; we will do exactly as you say.” So I called the priests and made them take an oath to act in accordance with this promise.

So they said,“ We will restore it, and will require nothing from them; we will do as you say.” Then I called the priests, and required an oath from them that they would do according to this promise.

Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do, even as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they would do according to this promise.

They responded:“ We will return these things and require nothing more from them. We will do as you say.” So I summoned the priests and made everyone take an oath to do this.

They replied,“ We will return these things, and we will no longer demand anything from them. We will do just as you say.” Then I called the priests and made the wealthy and the officials swear to do what had been promised.

Then they said,“ We will restore them, and will require nothing of them. We will do so, even as you say.” Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they would do according to this promise.

于是，以斯拉起来，要祭司长、利未人和所有以色列人起誓照这话去做，他们就都起了誓。

西底迦王与耶路撒冷的居民立约让他们释放自己的奴隶之后，耶和华的话传给了耶利米。西底迦王吩咐各人要释放自己的希伯来奴隶，任何人都不应使自己的同胞做奴隶。所有立约的首领和人民都答应守约，并释放了自己的奴隶，

会众都高声回答说：“你说的对，我们必照你的话做。

如果这地方的居民在安息日或其他圣日带来货物和五谷要卖给我们，我们必不购买。我们每逢第七年必不耕种，也必不追讨债务。

“如果有人得罪邻舍，被叫到这殿中，在你的坛前起誓，求你从天上垂听，在你众仆人当中施行审判，按他们的行为罚恶赏善。

撒该站起来对主说：“主啊，我要把我一半的财产分给穷人。我欺骗过谁，就还谁四倍。”

我就斥责他们，咒诅他们，打了他们其中一些人，又扯他们的头发，要他们奉上帝的名起誓不再让自己的子女与外族人通婚，自己也不娶外族女子。

凡不寻求以色列的上帝耶和华的，无论男女老幼，一律处死。他们高声向耶和华起誓，并吹响号角。

耶稣告诉他：“如果你想做到纯全，就去变卖所有的产业，送给穷人，你就必有财宝存在天上，然后你来跟从我。”那青年听后，便忧伤地走了，因为他有许多产业。

于是，士兵们便把俘虏和战利品交给众首领和民众。那些以法莲族长就上前照顾俘虏，从战利品中拿出衣服和鞋子给那些赤身露体的俘虏穿上，供应他们吃喝，又给他们的伤口抹上油，让软弱的骑驴。他们把所有的俘虏送到棕树城耶利哥他们的亲族那里，随后返回撒玛利亚。

耶稣还是沉默不语。大祭司又对祂说：“我奉永活上帝的名命令你起誓告诉我们，你是不是上帝的儿子基督？”

与祭司、先知、犹大人、耶路撒冷的居民等全体民众，不论贵贱，一同上到耶和华的殿。王把在殿中发现的约书念给他们听。王站在柱旁，在耶和华面前立约，要全心全意地跟随耶和华，遵从祂的一切诫命、法度和律例，履行约书上的规定。民众都答应守约。

都跟随他们的贵族同胞起誓要谨遵上帝借祂仆人摩西颁布的律法，遵守我们的主耶和华的一切诫命、典章和律例。
