Then I consulted with myself, and contended with the nobles and the rulers, and said to them,“ You exact usury, everyone of his brother.” I held a great assembly against them.

“倘若有贫苦的同胞向你借钱，你不可像放债的一样从中取利。

你们不可从中谋利，要敬畏上帝，让他住在你们当中。

“你们借给同胞钱、粮食或其他任何东西，都不可收取利息。你们可以向外族人收取利息，但不可向同胞收取。这样，在你们将要占领的土地上，你们的上帝耶和华必使你们凡事蒙福。

不可徇私枉法，不可偏袒穷人，不可谄媚权贵之人，要秉公审判。

你们要这样做，所有债主都要免除同胞所欠的债务，不可向他们追讨，因为宣布免除债务的是耶和华。你们可以向外族人讨债，但无论同胞欠你什么债务，都要免除。

对他们说：“你们办事必须谨慎，因为你们不是为人而是为耶和华断案，你们断案的时候，耶和华必与你们同在。现在你们应当敬畏耶和华，谨慎办事，因为我们的上帝耶和华毫无不义，不偏待人，不受贿赂。”

他不放债取利，也不受贿去坑害无辜。这样的人必永远坚立不摇。

“如果你们借贷给同胞，不可走进他家里索取抵押物；要站在外面，等他把抵押物拿出来。如果他是穷人，用自己的外袍作抵押，你们不可把他的外袍留到第二天，要在当天日落之前还给他，好让他盖着外袍睡觉。他会因此祝福你们，你们的上帝耶和华也会将此视为你们的义行。

在你这城中，他们受贿杀人，放债取利，压榨邻居，早把我忘了。这是主耶和华说的。

你说：“来寻求我！”我心中响应：“耶和华啊，我要寻求你。”

不要因生气而犯罪；躺在床上的时候要默然思想。（细拉）

开诚布公的责备胜过隐藏的爱。

你要讲明这些事，运用各样权柄劝勉人、责备人，别让人轻看你。

那些一直犯罪的人，你要当众责备他们，以警戒众人。

撒玛利亚有一位耶和华的先知名叫俄德，他出城去迎接班师回来的军队，说：“看啊，你们祖先的上帝耶和华向犹大发怒，才将他们交在你们手中。你们竟怒气冲天，对他们大加杀戮。现在你们竟还想让犹大和耶路撒冷的男女做你们的仆俾。你们岂不也得罪你们的上帝耶和华吗？你们还是听我的忠告，释放你们掳来的同胞，让他们回去吧！因为耶和华的烈怒已经临到你们了。”约哈难的儿子亚撒利雅、米实利末的儿子比利迦、沙龙的儿子耶希西迦和哈得莱的儿子亚玛撒四位以法莲族长起来阻挡从战场回来的军队，说：“你们不可把这些俘虏带进来，我们的罪已经够重了，耶和华的烈怒已经临到以色列人，不要再得罪耶和华，加重我们的罪恶了。”

上帝站在天庭的会中，向众神明宣布祂的判决，说：“你们不秉公行义，偏袒恶人要到何时呢？（细拉）你们要为穷人和孤儿主持公道，为贫寒和受压迫的人伸张正义。要救助穷苦的人，使他们脱离恶人的欺压。

后来，彼得到了安提阿，因他做错了事，我就当面责备他。

从今以后，我们不再以貌取人了，虽然我们曾这样看待基督，现在却不再这样看待祂了。

耶和华啊，谁能住在你的圣所？谁能安居在你的圣山？

如果他仍然不听，就应当告诉教会。如果他连教会也不听，就把他看作异教徒或税吏。

“‘主耶和华说，你们这些以色列的君王啊，够了！你们应当放弃暴行和抢掠，按公平和正义行事，不要再向我的子民横征暴敛了！这是主耶和华说的。
