又曰、往哉、食肥飲甘、無者頒之、此乃我主之聖日、毋憂戚、因耶和華而樂、是為爾之能力、

汝往哉、食其珍錯、飲其甘旨、無者頒之、此乃聖日、奉事耶和華、勿復殷憂、惟賴耶和華、眾姓臚歡。

尼希米又告之曰、而往哉、食肥飲甘、有未備者、而分予之、此乃我主之聖日、勿憂、因主而樂、實為爾之護庇、

Nehemiah said,“ Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Nehemiah said,“ Go and enjoy some good food and sweet drinks. Send some of it to people who don’t have any. This day is holy to our Lord. So don’t be sad. The joy of the Lord makes you strong.”

Then he said to them,“ Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

And Nehemiah continued,“ Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

Then he said to them,“ Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Then he said to them,“ Go, eat the festival foods, drink the sweet drinks, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your refuge.”

Then he said to them,“ Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye grieved; for the joy of Jehovah is your strength.

Then he said to them,“ Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the Lord is your stronghold.”

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for[ this] day[ is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

He said to them,“ Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Then he said to them,“ Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.”

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. (niv)

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (niv)

Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King. (niv)

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (niv)

In that day you will say:“ I will praise you, Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (niv)

That is why rural Jews— those living in villages— observe the fourteenth of the month of Adar as a day of joy and feasting, a day for giving presents to each other. (niv)

In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. (niv)

as the time when the Jews got relief from their enemies, and as the month when their sorrow was turned into joy and their mourning into a day of celebration. He wrote them to observe the days as days of feasting and joy and giving presents of food to one another and gifts to the poor. (niv)

Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. (niv)

With it he touched my mouth and said,“ See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,“ Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said,“ Here am I. Send me!” (niv)

Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. (niv)

A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, (niv)

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. “ If I have denied the desires of the poor or let the eyes of the widow grow weary,if I have kept my bread to myself, not sharing it with the fatherless—but from my youth I reared them as a father would, and from my birth I guided the widow— (niv)

Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. (niv)

This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them— for this is their lot. (niv)

though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: (niv)

But now as for what is inside you— be generous to the poor, and everything will be clean for you. (niv)

The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. (niv)
