耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅民、亞谷、沙比太、何第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難、毘萊雅、與利未人皆訓民、使明律法之意、民咸立於其所、

The Levites— Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan and Pelaiah— instructed the people in the Law while the people were standing there.

The Levites taught the Law to the people. They remained standing while the Levites taught them. The Levites who were there included Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai and Hodiah. They also included Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan and Pelaiah.

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law, while the people remained in their places.

The Levites— Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah— then instructed the people in the Law while everyone remained in their places.

Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah, who were Levites, explained the law to the people as they stood in their places.

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites explained the Law to the people while the people remained in their place.

Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah– all of whom were Levites– were teaching the people the law, as the people remained standing.

Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law; and the people stayed in their place.

耶書亞、巴尼、甲篾、示巴尼、布尼、示利比、巴尼、基拿尼、立在利未人的臺階上，向永恆主他們的上帝大聲哀呼。

接着是便雅憫和哈述修造自己房屋對面的一段。接着是亞難尼的孫子瑪西雅的兒子亞撒利雅修造了自己房屋附近的一段。

巴施戶珥的子孫中有以利約乃、瑪西雅、以實瑪利、拿坦業、約撒拔、以利亞撒。利未人中有約撒拔、示每、基拉雅（就是基利他）、還有毘他希雅、猶大、以利以謝。

又使你們可以將永恆主經摩西手所告訴以色列人的一切律例、指教他們。』

又有利未人：就是亞散尼的兒子耶書亞、希拿達的子孫賓內、甲篾；還有他們的族弟兄示巴尼、荷第雅、基利他、毘萊雅、哈難、

他們必將你的典章指教雅各，將你的律法指教以色列；他們必使燻祭的香氣升到你面前，把全燔祭放在你的祭壇上。

守門的是亞谷、達們、和他們的族弟兄、在門旁看守的、共一百七十二人。

他作王第三年就差遣大臣、有才德的人：俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦業、米該亞、在猶大各城去教訓人。同他們去的有利未人示瑪雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亞撒黑、示米拉末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多比雅、駝巴多尼雅這些利未人；又有祭司以利沙瑪、約蘭、和他們一同去。他們在猶大教訓人，也隨身帶着永恆主的律法書：他們環遊到猶大各城，在民間教訓人。

其次是米斯巴的區長耶書亞的兒子以謝修造了另一段，對着軍械庫的上坡、城牆的拐角處。

因為我們的上帝至善的手幫助了我們，他們就在以色列的曾孫利未的孫子抹利的子孫中打發了一個練達的人來，就是示利比和他兒子們跟族弟兄們、一共十八個人。

又有利未人的族長沙比太和約撒拔是管理上帝之殿的外事的。

希西家說好話向一切精練於事奉永恆主的利未人表示關心；於是眾人喫了這制定節期的筵席七天，宰獻着平安祭，稱謝永恆主他們列祖的上帝。

接着是利未人巴尼的兒子利宏修造的。其次是基伊拉半區的區長哈沙比雅為他本區修造的。

利未人的族長是哈沙比雅、示利比、甲篾的兒子耶書亞，和他們的同職弟兄相對着，根據神人大衛的命令一班對一班地讚美稱謝。瑪他尼、八布迦、俄巴底亞、米書蘭、達們、亞谷、是守門的；職守城門的庫房。

又有亞撒利雅、以斯拉、米書蘭、

還有祭司以利亞金、瑪西雅、米拿民、米該雅、以利約乃、撒迦利亞、哈楠尼亞、拿着號筒；又有瑪西雅、示瑪雅、以利亞撒、烏西、約哈難、瑪基雅、以攔、以謝、和歌唱的出了大聲音，有伊斯拉希雅做指揮。

和西萊雅、亞撒利雅、耶利米、

經學士以斯拉站在為這事特製的木臺上；在他身旁有瑪他提雅、示瑪、亞奈雅、烏利亞、希勒家，和瑪西雅、站在他右邊；有毘大雅、米沙利、瑪基雅、哈順、哈拔大拿、撒迦利亞、和米書蘭、站在他左邊。

因為祭司嘴裏應當保存着知識，人也應該從他口中尋求禮節規矩，因為他是萬軍之永恆主的使者。
