祂把海水分开，带领他们安然渡过；祂使海水堆起如墙壁。

天刚亮的时候，摩西向海伸出手，海水便复原。埃及人纷纷向岸上逃命，耶和华却使大水把他们卷回海中。海水回流，法老的战车和人马都淹没在大海之中，全军覆没。

摩西向海伸出手，耶和华便整夜用强劲的东风吹退海水，将海底变成干地。海水分开后，以色列人踏着干地走入海中，海水如两道墙立在他们左右。

要称谢那位分开红海的，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂引领以色列人走过红海，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。祂让法老和他的军兵葬身红海，因为祂的慈爱永远长存。

后来，他们想起古时候，想起了摩西和他的百姓，便问，带领百姓及其牧者摩西从海里出来的那位在哪里？将自己的圣灵降在他们中间的那位在哪里？用荣耀的臂膀扶持摩西，在他们面前把海水分开，使自己威名永存的那位在哪里？带领他们经过大海，犹如马行平川不会失脚的那位在哪里？

大海看见他们就奔逃，约旦河也倒流。大山如公羊一般跳跃，小山像羊羔一样蹦跳。大海啊，你为何奔逃？约旦河啊，你为何倒流？

祂斥责红海，海就干了，祂带领他们走过深渊，如履干地。祂救他们逃脱敌人的追赶，从仇敌的手中救赎了他们。海水淹没了敌军，没有一人生还。

以色列人凭信心渡过红海，如履干地，埃及人试图过去，却被海水淹没。

祂将沧海变为干地，让百姓步行经过。让我们因祂的作为而欢欣吧！

那时，摩西和以色列人便歌颂耶和华说：“我要歌颂耶和华，因祂大获全胜，祂把战马骑兵都卷入海中。耶和华是我的力量，我的诗歌，也成了我的拯救；祂是我的上帝，我要赞美祂；祂是我父亲的上帝，我要尊崇祂。耶和华是战士，祂名叫耶和华。祂把法老的战车和全军都抛进海中，法老的优秀将领都葬身于红海，大水淹没他们，他们如同石块沉入深海。耶和华啊，你大能的右手显出荣耀；耶和华啊，你的右手击碎仇敌。你大显威严，击倒那些起来对抗你的人；你大发雷霆，他们便像枯草遇火，一烧而尽。你的鼻孔一呼气，海水便堆聚起来，洪涛便堆起水墙，海底深处也都凝固。敌人说，‘追啊，追上他们，瓜分他们的财物，尽情地掳掠他们，拔出刀来把他们斩尽杀绝。’你叫风一吹，海水就淹没他们，他们好像铅块一样沉没在怒海中。耶和华啊，万神之中，谁能像你？谁能像你——威严神圣，可颂可畏，广行神迹？你伸出右手，大地便吞灭他们。你以不变的爱引领你所救赎的子民，以大能带他们进入你的圣所。各邦各族听见这些事就发抖，非利士人也痛苦不堪，以东的族长惶恐，摩押的英雄颤栗，迦南的居民都胆战心惊。惊骇恐惧笼罩着他们。耶和华啊，你臂膀的大能吓得他们僵立如石，直到你的子民都安然走过，直到你买赎的子民都安然走过。耶和华啊，你要带领自己的子民到你的山上安居——到你为自己所造的住处，主啊，到你亲手建的圣所。“耶和华必做王，直到永永远远。”法老的战车和骑兵追到海中，耶和华使海水回流淹没他们，以色列人却在海中踏着干地走到对岸。亚伦的姐姐米利暗是个先知，她手拿小鼓，带领妇女击鼓跳舞，唱道：“要歌颂耶和华，因祂大获全胜，把马和骑兵都抛进海中。”

这时，有一位大力天使举起一块像大磨石的石头扔进海里，说：“巴比伦大城也必这样被用力扔下去，消失得无影无踪。
