The Levites, however, are to set up their tents around the tabernacle of the covenant law so that my wrath will not fall on the Israelite community. The Levites are to be responsible for the care of the tabernacle of the covenant law.”

在會幕前、列營於東者、即摩西、亞倫、與亞倫諸子、防守聖所、代以色列人守所當守者、凡外人近聖所、必當治死、

當宣道、無論時之順否、皆專務之、凡事寛容而訓誨、以督責、警戒、勸勉、

專務誦讀勸勉教誨、以待我至、爾所得之恩賜、即昔依預言在長老按手時所賜爾者、切勿輕忽、爾當念此而專務之、使爾上達、明顯於眾、爾當慎己、亦慎所教、當恆心在此、如是而行、則可自救、亦救聽爾者、

先知傳虛言、祭司賴之掌權、我民以此為悅、及至其終、主降罰之時、爾將何為、

爾之兄弟、即屬爾祖家利未支派之人、可使之前來歸爾、役事爾、惟爾與爾子孫俱在法幕前供職、利未人當為爾供役、供全幕之役、惟不可近聖所之器與祭臺、恐彼等與爾曹同致死亡、利未人歸爾、守會幕中所當守者、供會幕一切役事、但外人毋近爾、爾曹當守聖所與祭臺、免以色列人再干主怒、

利未人供役事有定例、自二十五歲以上者、可來入班、在會幕供役事、五十歲以後可出班、不復供役事、可輔助諸兄弟諸兄弟即他利未人守會幕、毋再役事、使利未人入班供役、當待之若此、

故萬有之主、指諸先知如是云、我必食之以茵蔯、飲之以毒水、蓋邪淫流行遍地、悉由耶路撒冷之先知而出、

我儕尊主為我之天主、未嘗棄之、奉事主之祭司、俱亞倫子孫、利未人亦供其役事、
