其所負者、會幕、至聖之什物、遄征之時、亞倫及其子、宜近前、除簾以掩法匱、施貂皮其上、覆以紫布、貫杠於旁。几上覆以紫布、盤鼎、壺、盂、以為灌奠、我前恆陳之餅、悉置其上。蓋以絳布、覆以貂皮、貫杠於旁。以紫布蓋燈臺、及盞、剪、盤、與所用之油器、覆以貂皮、悉置於板。以紫布蓋金壇、施貂皮其上、貫杠於旁。聖室所用之器皿、以供役事者、蓋以紫布、施貂皮其上、悉置於板。祭壇之灰必棄、覆以赤布、置鼎、鈎、鍫、盂、及壇上所用器皿、以供役事者、悉置於壇、施貂皮其上、貫杠於旁。以色列族遄征時、亞倫及其子、蓋聖室諸器皿、既畢其事、則哥轄子孫可前以舁、惟不可捫聖物、恐致死亡、今所言者、哥轄子孫、當負戴會幕之什物、祭司亞倫之子、以利亞撒所守者乃燈油、芬芳之品、日獻之禮物、以及香膏、與統理會幕聖室中所用之什物。

告之曰、爾曹為利未族之最著者、爾與同宗當潔己、舁以色列上帝耶和華之匱、至我預備之所。爾初行此、不循常例、故上帝耶和華譴責我儕。祭司及利未人潔清其體、欲舁以色列族上帝耶和華之匱。上帝之匱、利未人扛貫、而肩負之、循耶和華所諭摩西之命。

蓋聖物時、哥轄人亦勿入以觀望、恐致死亡。○

大闢曰、耶和華簡利未人、舁上帝匱、供其役事、歷代勿替、自是舁匱、必以利未人。

屬哥轄者、有暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯崙、烏泄四族、其諸丁男、自一月以上、計八千六百、使守聖所、皆當於會幕南向列營。烏泄子以利撒反、為哥轄族長。哥轄人所守者、法匱、几案、燈臺、祭壇、香壇、與幬、及聖室器皿、用以服事者。祭司亞倫子以利亞撒為利未族諸長之冠、統理守聖室之人。○

遄征時、利未族、與會幕、居於營之中、視列營法、以為遄征、各隨其纛。○

如徙會幕、利未人移之、如立會幕、利未人建之、外人近其側、必致死亡。
