But the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had only spit in her face, would she not be put to shame for seven days? Have her shut outside the camp for seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”

耶和华对摩西说：“她父亲若吐唾沫在她脸上，她岂不蒙羞七天吗？现在要把她在营外关锁七天，然后才可以领她进来。”

耶和華曰、若彼父唾於其面、豈不蒙羞七日乎、必禁之營外、歷至七日、然後可導之入、

耶和華曰、若彼父唾於其面、使蒙羞惡、歷至七日、故必禁之營外、至於七日、然後可入。

主諭摩西曰、若其父唾於其面、必蒙羞歷七日、當禁之於營外、至於七日、然後入營、

The Lord replied to Moses,“ If her father had spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp for seven days; after that she can be brought back.”

The Lord answered Moses. He said,“ Suppose her father had spit in her face. Then she would have been put to shame for seven days. So keep her outside the camp for seven days. After that, you can bring her back.”

But the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut outside the camp seven days, and after that she may be brought in again.”

But the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had done nothing more than spit in her face, wouldn’t she be defiled for seven days? So keep her outside the camp for seven days, and after that she may be accepted back.”

The LORD answered Moses,“ If her father had merely spit in her face, wouldn’t she remain in disgrace for seven days? Let her be confined outside the camp for seven days; after that she may be brought back in.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”

And Jehovah said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut up without the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn’t she be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again.”

then his brother’s widow shall come up to him in the sight of the elders, and pull his sandal off his foot and spit in his face; and she shall declare,‘ This is what is done to the man who does not build up his brother’s house!’

They loathe me and stand aloof from me, And they do not refrain from spitting in my face.

“ Command the sons of Israel that they send away from the camp everyone with leprosy, everyone having a discharge, and everyone who is unclean because of contact with a dead person.You shall send away both male and female; you shall send them outside the camp so that they do not defile their camp where I dwell in their midst.”

I gave My back to those who strike Me, And My cheeks to those who pull out My beard; I did not hide My face from insults and spitting.

The one to be cleansed shall then wash his clothes and shave off all his hair, and bathe in water and be clean. And afterward he may enter the camp, but he shall stay outside his tent for seven days.

Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?

Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous on his forehead; and they quickly removed him from there, and he himself also hurried to get out because the Lord had stricken him.King Uzziah had leprosy to the day of his death; and he lived in a separate house, afflicted as he was with leprosy, for he was cut off from the house of the Lord. And his son Jotham was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.

Then they spit in His face and beat Him with their fists; and others slapped Him,

“ As for the person who has the leprous infection, his clothes shall be torn and the hair of his head shall be uncovered, and he shall cover his mustache and call out,‘ Unclean! Unclean!’He shall remain unclean all the days during which he has the infection; he is unclean. He shall live alone; he shall live outside the camp.

“ But He has made me a proverb among the people, And I am one at whom people spit.
