The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.”

The Amalekites live in the Negev Desert. The Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the central hill country. The Canaanites live near the Mediterranean Sea. They also live along the Jordan River.”

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the Negeb. The Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the hill country. And the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and along the Jordan.”

The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country. The Canaanites live along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan Valley.”

The Amalekites are living in the land of the Negev; the Hethites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the Jordan.”

Amalek is living in the land of the Negev, the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites are living in the hill country, and the Canaanites are living by the sea and by the side of the Jordan.”

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”

亞瑪力人和迦南人都在你們面前，你們必倒在刀下。因為你們背離不跟從耶和華，耶和華必不與你們同在。」

就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人的地。」

我下來是要救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們從那地上來，到美好與寬闊之地，到流奶與蜜之地，就是迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地。

掃羅奮勇作戰，擊敗亞瑪力人，救了以色列脫離搶掠他們之人的手。

迦巴勒、亞捫、亞瑪力、非利士和推羅的居民。

現在你要去攻打亞瑪力人，滅盡他們所有的，不可憐惜他們，將男女、孩童、吃奶的，以及牛、羊、駱駝和驢全都殺死。』」於是掃羅在提拉因召集百姓，數點他們，共有二十萬步兵和一萬猶大人。掃羅到了亞瑪力的京城，在谷中設下埋伏。掃羅對基尼人說：「你們離開亞瑪力人下去吧，免得我把你們和亞瑪力人一同殺滅，因為以色列眾人從埃及上來的時候，你們曾恩待他們。」於是基尼人離開了亞瑪力人。掃羅攻打亞瑪力人，從哈腓拉直到埃及東邊的書珥，生擒了亞瑪力王亞甲，用刀殺盡亞瑪力的眾百姓。掃羅和百姓卻憐惜亞甲，愛惜上好的牛、羊、牛犢、羔羊，以及一切美物，不肯滅絕。但是凡看不上眼和沒有價值的，他們盡都殺了。

我也曾說：要把你們從埃及的困苦中領出來，往迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的地去，就是到流奶與蜜之地。』

於是亞瑪力人和住在那山區的迦南人下來，擊敗他們，追擊他們直到何珥瑪。

巴蘭看見亞瑪力人，就唱起詩歌說：「亞瑪力是諸國之首，但它終必永遠沉淪。」

他們轉回，來到安‧密巴，就是加低斯，擊敗了亞瑪力全地的人，以及住在哈洗遜‧他瑪的亞摩利人。

那時，亞瑪力來到利非訂，和以色列爭戰。摩西對約書亞說：「你為我們選出人來，出去和亞瑪力爭戰。明天我要站在山頂上，手裏拿着上帝的杖。」於是，約書亞照着摩西對他所說的話去做，和亞瑪力爭戰。摩西、亞倫和戶珥都上了山頂。摩西何時舉手，以色列就得勝；何時垂手，亞瑪力就得勝。但摩西的雙手沉重，他們就搬一塊石頭來放在他下面，他就坐在上面。亞倫與戶珥扶着他的手，一個在這邊，一個在那邊，他的手就穩住，直到日落。約書亞用刀打敗了亞瑪力和他的百姓。耶和華對摩西說：「你要把這事記錄在書上作紀念，又念給約書亞聽：我要把亞瑪力的名字從天下全然塗去。」摩西築了一座壇，起名叫「耶和華尼西」。他說：「我指着耶和華的寶座發誓，耶和華必世世代代和亞瑪力爭戰。」

每當以色列人撒種之後，米甸、亞瑪力和東邊的人都上來攻打他們，

亞瑪力人和迦南人住在谷中，明天你們要轉回去，沿着紅海的路往曠野去。」

第三日，大衛和他的人到了洗革拉。亞瑪力人已經侵奪尼革夫和洗革拉。他們攻破洗革拉，用火焚燒。
