The LORD said to Moses,“ Bring Aaron’s staff back before the testimony to be preserved for a sign to the rebels, so that you may bring their murmurings to an end before me, that they will not die.”

耶和华吩咐摩西说：“把亚伦的杖还放在法柜前，给这些背叛之子留作记号。这样，你就使他们向我发的怨言止息，免得他们死亡。”

永恆主對摩西說：『把亞倫的手杖放回法櫃前，給這些悖逆之子留做鑑戒，這樣、你就使他們向我發的怨言終止，免得他們死亡。』

耶和華諭摩西曰、反亞倫杖於法匱前、存之為誌、使此叛逆之輩、息怨於我、免其隕沒、

耶和華諭摩西曰、攜亞倫杖至法匱前、存之為誌、使此橫逆之輩、無所怨尤、免其殞沒。

主諭摩西曰、復攜亞倫之杖至法匱前、留於彼、為悖逆之人作誌、使其怨言止息於我前、免致死亡、或作攜亞倫之杖至法匱前存之以為記誌使悖逆之輩於我前止息怨言免致死亡

The Lord said to Moses,“ Put back Aaron’s staff in front of the ark of the covenant law, to be kept as a sign to the rebellious. This will put an end to their grumbling against me, so that they will not die.”

The Lord said to Moses,“ Put Aaron’s walking stick back in front of the ark where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. The stick will be kept there as a warning to those who refuse to obey. They are never happy with what I do. Aaron’s walking stick will put an end to what they are saying. Then they will not die.”

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Put back the staff of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebels, that you may make an end of their grumblings against me, lest they die.”

And the Lord said to Moses:“ Place Aaron’s staff permanently before the Ark of the Covenant to serve as a warning to rebels. This should put an end to their complaints against me and prevent any further deaths.”

The LORD told Moses,“ Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign for the rebels, so that you may put an end to their complaints before me, or else they will die.”

But the Lord said to Moses,“ Put the staff of Aaron back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign against the rebels, so that you may put an end to their grumblings against Me and they do not die.”

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Bring Aaron’s rod back before the Testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put their complaints away from Me, lest they die.”

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that thou mayest make an end of their murmurings against me, that they die not.

The Lord told Moses,“ Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign for the rebels, so that you may put an end to their complaints before Me, or else they will die.”

And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Put back the rod of Aaron before the covenant, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their complaining against me, that they not die.”

As for the censers of these men who sinned at the cost of their lives, they must be made into hammered sheets for covering the altar, because they presented them before the LORD and sanctified them. They will become a sign to the Israelites.”

It contained the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered entirely with gold. In this ark were the golden urn containing the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.

The sons of Eli were wicked men. They did not recognize the LORD’s authority.

Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience.

I am surrounded by lions; I lie down among those who want to devour me; men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are a sharp sword.

Now write down for yourselves the following song and teach it to the Israelites. Put it into their very mouths so that this song may serve as my witness against the Israelites!For after I have brought them to the land I promised to their ancestors– one flowing with milk and honey– and they eat their fill and become fat, then they will turn to other gods and worship them; they will reject me and break my covenant.Then when many disasters and distresses overcome them this song will testify against them, for their descendants will not forget it. I know the intentions they have in mind today, even before I bring them to the land I have promised.”So on that day Moses wrote down this song and taught it to the Israelites,and the LORD commissioned Joshua son of Nun,“ Be strong and courageous, for you will take the Israelites to the land I have promised them, and I will be with you.”When Moses finished writing on a scroll the words of this law in their entirety,he commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the LORD’s covenant,“ Take this scroll of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. It will remain there as a witness against you,

It was a memorial for the Israelites, that no outsider who is not a descendant of Aaron should approach to burn incense before the LORD, that he might not become like Korah and his company– just as the LORD had spoken by the authority of Moses.

Moses said,“ This is what the LORD has commanded:‘ Fill an omer with it to be kept for generations to come, so that they may see the food I fed you in the desert when I brought you out from the land of Egypt.’”

Listen, O heavens, pay attention, O earth! For the LORD speaks:“ I raised children, I brought them up, but they have rebelled against me!
