“ But you must not redeem the firstborn of a cow, a sheep or a goat; they are holy. Splash their blood against the altar and burn their fat as a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

按手在他的供物頭上，在會棚出入處宰牠；亞倫子孫做祭司的要將血潑在祭壇的四圍。他要從平安祭中、取為火祭獻與永恆主，把蓋臟腑的脂肪和臟腑上的一切脂肪、兩個腰子和腰子上的脂肪、靠近腰兩旁的脂肪、和肝上的附屬物、連腰子、都供獻上。亞倫的子孫要給燻在祭壇上的燔祭品上、就是在壇火之柴上、做怡神香氣之火祭獻與永恆主。

『你牛羣羊羣中所養一切頭胎的、凡是公的、你都要把牠分別為聖，歸永恆主你的上帝；你牛羣中頭胎的、不可用牠去耕種，你的羊羣中頭胎的、不可給牠剪毛。你年年要在永恆主你的上帝面前喫牠，在永恆主所要選擇的地方，你和你家眷一同喫。這頭胎的若有甚麼殘疾、像瘸腿或瞎眼，或是任何惡性的殘疾，你就不可把牠獻祭與永恆主你的上帝。要在你的城內喫牠，不潔淨的人和潔淨的人都一樣可以喫，像喫瞪羚羊和鹿一般。

你要宰這公綿羊，把血潑在祭壇的四圍。
