The people came to Moses and said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The others came to Moses. They said,“ We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the people came to Moses and cried out,“ We have sinned by speaking against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take away the snakes.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The people then came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so that he will take the snakes away from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said,“ We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord that He take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

民众呼求摩西，摩西便向耶和华祷告，火就熄了。

直到上帝击杀他们的时候，他们才回转，诚心寻求上帝。

法老说：“好，我让你们去旷野献祭给你们的上帝耶和华，只是不要走得太远。现在为我祈求吧。”

王对上帝的仆人说：“请你为我祷告，求你的上帝耶和华使我的手复原。”于是，上帝的仆人向耶和华祷告，王的手就复原了。

现在你们要取七头公牛和七只公羊，到我仆人约伯那里，为自己献上燔祭，因为你们对我的议论不如我仆人约伯说的有理。我仆人约伯会为你们祷告，我会悦纳他的祷告，不按你们的愚妄惩罚你们。”

向祂祈求说，‘主耶和华啊，求你不要毁灭你的子民！他们是你的产业，是你用大能的手从埃及拯救出来的。求你看在你仆人亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的份上，不要计较这个民族的顽固和罪恶，免得你带领我们离开之地的人说，你不能把他们领到你应许给他们的地方，你憎恶他们，所以把他们带到旷野杀了。他们毕竟是你的子民，你的产业，是你伸出大能的臂膀从埃及带出来的。’

“我出卖了清白无辜的人，我犯罪了！”他们说：“那是你自己的事，跟我们有什么关系？”

因此祂说要消灭他们。若不是祂所拣选的摩西为他们求情，祂早已在烈怒中毁灭了他们。

弟兄姊妹，我心里切望并向上帝祈求的，就是以色列人能够得救。

法老派人召来摩西和亚伦，对他们说：“这次我犯罪了，耶和华是对的，我和我的百姓错了。请你们向耶和华祷告，好止住雷电和冰雹。我准许以色列人出去，你们不必再留在这里了。”

第二天，摩西对百姓说：“你们犯了大罪，我现在要到耶和华那里，也许可以为你们求得赦免。”

所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代祷，好得到医治。义人的祷告有极大的力量和功效。

摩西恳求他的上帝耶和华说：“耶和华啊，你为什么要向你的子民发烈怒呢？这些子民是你亲自用神迹和大能从埃及领出来的。

因此，求主彰显伟大的权能，正如你所宣告的，‘耶和华不轻易发怒，充满慈爱；祂赦免罪恶和过犯，但决不免除罪责，必向子孙追讨父辈的罪债，直到三四代。’从他们离开埃及直到现在，你一直在饶恕他们，求你以伟大的慈爱再次赦免这些人的罪。”耶和华说：“我听你的祈求，赦免他们。

扫罗说：“我犯了罪，但求你在以色列的长老和百姓面前尊重我，求你跟我回去，我好敬拜你的上帝耶和华。”

扫罗对撒母耳说：“我犯罪了！我违背了耶和华的命令和你的指示。我因惧怕百姓，就听从了他们。

耶和华对我说：“就算摩西和撒母耳站在我面前求情，我也不会怜悯这些百姓。你把他们从我面前赶走吧！

他们求撒母耳，说：“求你为仆人们向你的上帝耶和华祈祷，免得我们死亡！因为我们要求立王是罪上加罪。”撒母耳说：“不要害怕，你们虽然做了这恶事，但不可离开耶和华，要全心全意地事奉祂。不要去追求其他虚无的假神，它们对你们毫无益处，也不能拯救你们。耶和华不会丢弃祂的子民，使自己的大名受损，祂乐意使你们做祂的子民。至于我，我会不断地为你们祈祷，免得我得罪耶和华。我会教导你们行善道、走正路。

约伯为朋友们祷告后，耶和华恢复了他以前的昌盛，并且耶和华赐给他的比以前多一倍。

我要撇下他们，返回我的居所，直到他们知罪来寻求我。在苦难的日子里，他们必恳切地寻求我。”

现在你要把那人的妻子还给他，他是个先知，他会为你祷告，使你活命。要知道，如果你不这样做，你和你的人民都必死。”

耶和华对亚伦非常愤怒，以致要杀掉他，于是我也为他祈求。

西底迦王派示利米雅的儿子犹甲和玛西雅的儿子祭司西番雅来对耶利米先知说：“求你为我们向我们的上帝耶和华祷告。”
