“ May the Lord, the God of the spirits of humanity, appoint a man over the congregation,

「耶和華啊，你是賜人生命的上帝，求你立一個人做會眾的首領，

“願耶和華萬人之靈的神，立一個人治理會眾，

『願永恆主萬人之靈的上帝立一個人來治理會眾，

請耶和華、世人諸神之上帝、簡立一人、統轄會眾、

耶和華上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、請立一人、統轄會眾、

天主耶和華、賜生氣於一切身軀者、或作天主耶和華賜生命於凡有血氣者求立一人治理此會、

“ May the Lord, the God who gives breath to all living things, appoint someone over this community

“ Lord, you are the God who gives life and breath to all living things. Please put someone in charge of this community.

“ Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

“ O Lord, you are the God who gives breath to all creatures. Please appoint a new man as leader for the community.

“ May the LORD, the God who gives breath to all, appoint a man over the community

“ Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,

“ May the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the community

Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

“ Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all humankind, appoint a man over the community,

“ Let Yahweh, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,

But they fell on their faces and said,“ God, the God of the spirits of humanity, when one person sins, will You be angry with the entire congregation?”

Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?

For the Lord God says this:“ Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and look after them.As a shepherd cares for his flock on a day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing place will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down in a good grazing place and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.I Myself will feed My flock and I Myself will lead them to rest,” declares the Lord God.“ I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will eliminate. I will feed them with judgment.

Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

So behold, I intend to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, just as the Lord spoke to David my father, saying,‘ Your son, whom I will put on your throne in your place, he will build the house for My name.’

“ I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

And now, behold, the king whom you have chosen, whom you have asked for, and behold, the Lord has put a king over you.

“ Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you knowledge and understanding.

shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not with greed but with eagerness;nor yet as domineering over those assigned to your care, but by proving to be examples to the flock.And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

“ And My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes and follow them.

“ Then I will appoint over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd.

I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the Lord.“ Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Behold, the time for you to die is near; call Joshua and present yourselves at the tent of meeting, and I will commission him.” So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves at the tent of meeting.
