So the Lord said to Moses,“ Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit of leadership, and lay your hand on him.

So the Lord said to Moses,“ Joshua, the son of Nun, has the ability to be a wise leader. Get him and place your hand on him.

So the Lord said to Moses,“ Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him.

The Lord replied,“ Take Joshua son of Nun, who has the Spirit in him, and lay your hands on him.

The LORD replied to Moses,“ Take Joshua son of Nun, a man who has the Spirit in him, and lay your hands on him.

So the Lord said to Moses,“ Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;

And the Lord said to Moses:“ Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay thy hand upon him;

The Lord replied to Moses,“ Take Joshua son of Nun, a man who has the Spirit in him, and lay your hands on him.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom[ is] the spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;

The LORD replied to Moses,“ Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is such a spirit, and lay your hand on him;

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him.

Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses. (niv)

So Pharaoh asked them,“ Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God?” (niv)

Then he laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the Lord instructed through Moses. (niv)

The Spirit of the Lord came on him, so that he became Israel’s judge and went to war. The Lord gave Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram into the hands of Othniel, who overpowered him. (niv)

I wish that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put his Spirit on them!” (niv)

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel,“ Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance.The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (niv)

I have heard that the spirit of the gods is in you and that you have insight, intelligence and outstanding wisdom. (niv)

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. (niv)

So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him. (niv)

I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone. (niv)

One of the servants answered,“ I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him.” (niv)

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. (niv)

Moses said to Joshua,“ Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.” (niv)

These are the names of the men Moses sent to explore the land.( Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua.) (niv)

They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them. (niv)

Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them (niv)

Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jephthah. He crossed Gilead and Manasseh, passed through Mizpah of Gilead, and from there he advanced against the Ammonites. (niv)
