利未元孫哥轄孫以斯哈子可拉、及流便支派以利押子大坍亞比蘭並比勒子安結黨以叛、與以色列會中牧伯顯著有名望者二百五十人、皆叛逆摩西、原文作群起於摩西前集而攻摩西亞倫曰、爾之自尊踰分、會眾悉聖、主亦在其中、何爾自大、僭越主之會耶、

地啟口、吞可拉一黨與其幕、及可拉之人丁貨財、彼眾及凡所有、生墮示阿勒、後為地所覆、滅於會中、以色列人在其四周、聞其號呼則遁、曰、恐我儕亦為地所吞、又有火出自主前、燬其獻香者二百五十人、○

故我謂爾云、爾必死於爾罪中、爾若不信我之為我、或作爾若不信我為基督必死於爾罪中、

為可拉之事而死者外、遭疫癘而死者、計一萬四千七百人、

蓋罪之償值、死也、天主恩賜乃永生、因我主耶穌基督焉、
