為以色列族之記誌、以示外人非亞倫之裔者、不得近而焚香於耶和華前、恐遭厥害、若可拉及其黨然、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命、○

兄弟乎、當於爾中擇有令名、充於聖神及智者七人、我儕將立之以司斯事、我則專務祈禱宣道、

不守我聖物、乃立人代爾供我聖地之役事、

伯示麥人窺耶和華匱、耶和華擊之、死者七十、其人計有五萬、民因耶和華大行殺戮而悲、

兄弟乎、我儕既賴耶穌之血、毅然而入聖所、由彼為我儕所闢新且生之路、經乎幔、即其形軀也、且既有大祭司宰上帝家、則宜以誠心篤信而進、心被灑以除是非之謬誤、身亦為清水所滌、

如是爾不復為外人、為客旅、乃與聖徒同籍、為上帝之眷屬、

火自耶和華出、燬其焚香者二百五十人、○

若其在世、則不為祭司、蓋有依律獻禮者在焉、

遂以謳歌、供事於會幕前、迨所羅門建耶和華室於耶路撒冷、循其班次、以供厥職、

耶和華怒烏撒、因其過而擊之、遂死於上帝匱側、

彼既強盛、心則高傲、致行邪僻、干犯其上帝耶和華、入耶和華殿、欲焚香於香壇、祭司亞撒利雅與耶和華之祭司八十人、俱為勇者、隨之而入、阻之曰、烏西雅歟、焚香於耶和華、非爾之職、乃亞倫子孫為祭司、區別以焚香者之職、爾干罪矣、其出聖所、不得尊榮於上帝耶和華也、烏西雅怒、執鼎焚香、其向祭司怒時、在耶和華室香壇側、祭司前、額忽生癩、祭司長亞撒利雅與眾祭司觀之、見其額生癩、乃促之出、彼即速出、因耶和華擊之也、烏西雅王患癩至死、獨居異室、絕於耶和華室、其子約坦理家政、治國民、

彼為爾服役、且守會幕、惟不可近聖所之器皿及壇、免其與爾俱致死亡、

當勤於斯、專於斯、使爾之上達顯於眾、慎乃身與乃訓、宜恆於斯、如是、則將救己及聽爾者矣、

束以紳、冠以冠、別之為聖、使亞倫與其子任祭司職、以為永例、○
