假如別人在你們身上享有這權利，何況我們呢？然而，我們並沒有用過這權利，倒是凡事忍受，免得基督的福音受到阻礙。

我在這裏，你們要在耶和華和他的受膏者面前為我作證，我奪過誰的牛，搶過誰的驢，欺負過誰，虐待過誰，從誰手裏收過賄賂而蒙蔽自己的眼目呢？若有，我必償還。」眾人說：「你未曾欺負我們，虐待我們，也未曾從任何人手裏收過任何東西。」

摩西非常生氣，就對耶和華說：「求你不要接受他們的供物。我並沒有奪過他們一匹驢，也沒有害過他們中任何一個人。」
