凡耐火之物都要用火来洁净，还要用除秽水加以洁净；不耐火之物要用水来洁净。

凡能见火的，你们要叫它经火就为洁净，然而还要用除污秽的水洁净它；凡不能见火的，你们要叫它过水。

and anything else that can withstand fire must be put through the fire, and then it will be clean. But it must also be purified with the water of cleansing. And whatever cannot withstand fire must be put through that water.

must be put through fire. So must everything else that doesn’t burn up. Then those things will be‘ clean.’ But they must also be made pure with the special water. In fact, everything that won’t burn up must be put through that water.

everything that can stand the fire, you shall pass through the fire, and it shall be clean. Nevertheless, it shall also be purified with the water for impurity. And whatever cannot stand the fire, you shall pass through the water.

that is, all metals that do not burn— must be passed through fire in order to be made ceremonially pure. These metal objects must then be further purified with the water of purification. But everything that burns must be purified by the water alone.

要由洁净的人把红母牛灰收起来，放在营外洁净的地方，用于给以色列会众制作除秽水，作除罪之用。

要拿些除罪用的红母牛灰，放在器皿里，倒上清水，

每个人的工程将来都会显明出来，因为到了审判的日子，必用火试验各人工程的品质。

要用以下的方法洁净他们，把洁净水洒在他们身上，叫他们用剃刀剃净全身，洗净衣服，这样他们就洁净了。

我必使这三分之一的人受到火一般的考验；我必像熬炼银子一样熬炼他们，像试炼金子一样试炼他们。他们必呼求我的名，我必回应他们。我必说，‘这是我的子民。’他们必说，‘耶和华是我们的上帝。’”

你穿越洪涛，我必与你同在；你渡过江河，必不会被水淹没；你在火中走过，必不会被烧伤，火焰不会烧到你身上。

如果它们的尸体掉在什么东西上，不管是木器、衣物、皮件还是袋子，不管作何用途，都会变得不洁净。要把那东西放在水中，一直到傍晚才能洁净。

我劝你向我买精炼的金子，使你真正富有。你也要向我买白袍穿在身上，好遮盖你赤身露体的羞辱。你也要向我买眼药抹眼睛，使你能看见。

我用水为你们施洗，叫你们悔改。但在我之后，有位比我更有能力的要来，我连替祂提鞋都不配。祂要用圣灵和火为你们施洗。

借着重生之洗和圣灵的更新拯救了我们，这并非因为我们有义行，而是因为祂的怜悯。上帝借着我们的救主耶稣基督把圣灵丰丰富富地浇灌在我们身上。

这水代表的洗礼现在借着耶稣基督的复活也拯救了你们。这洗礼要表明的不是除掉肉体的污秽，而是求在上帝面前有无愧的良心。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，若有火一般的试炼临到你们，不要觉得奇怪，以为发生了什么不寻常的事，

万军之耶和华说：“如果你们不听从我的话，也不从内心尊崇我的名，我必使咒诅临到你们，把你们的福气变成咒诅。事实上，因为你们不把我的诫命放在心上，我已经咒诅了你们。我必斥责你们的子孙，把你们祭牲的粪便抹在你们脸上，又把你们和粪便一同丢掉，

沾了精液的衣物或皮革都不洁净，必须用水清洗，等到傍晚才能洁净。

好借着自己的道用水洗净教会，使她圣洁，

这样，你们的信心经过试验便显明是真实的，比那经过火炼仍会坏掉的金子更加宝贵，使你们可以在耶稣基督显现时得到称赞、荣耀和尊贵。
