主諭亞倫曰、舉獻歸我之禮物、我賜爾得之、爾既受膏、我以凡以色列人所區別為聖之物、賜爾與爾子孫永為定例、

天主豈為牛慮乎、抑特為我言之乎、固為我載之、蓋耕者必以望而耕、碾穀者亦必因望而碾、即得穀之望也、我儕既為爾播屬神之道、則獲爾屬身之物、豈為大事乎、他人尚操此權於爾中、況我儕乎、然我儕未用此權、寧忍一切、免阻基督之福音、爾豈不知務聖事者、由聖所得食乎、侍祭臺者、在祭臺有分乎、主亦如此命傳福音者、賴福音以養生、

行路勿囊、勿二衣、勿履、勿杖、蓋工得其食、宜也、

受什一之利未人、亦可謂同亞伯拉罕什取其一、以供麥基洗德、蓋麥基洗德迓祖亞伯拉罕時、利未已在祖體中、昔民受律法、即在利未子孫得祭司職之時、若賴此祭司之職、能得成全、何用別設一祭司、循麥基洗德之等次、而不循亞倫之等次乎、又作人若賴利未子孫所得祭司之職能得成全何須別設一祭司循麥基洗德之等次而非循亞倫之等次乎民所受之律法與此祭司之職實有關係祭司之職既易、則律法亦必易、

爾試思之、祖亞伯拉罕、以所獲者什取一以供之、則其人之尊貴何如、利未子孫之得祭司職者、雖與民皆為亞伯拉罕之裔、同為兄弟、仍奉律法之命、以民之物、什取其一、麥基洗德雖不屬利未之族、猶於亞伯拉罕之物、什取其一、且為蒙應許者祝福、

學道者、當以一切所需供教道者、

凡以色列人區別為聖、舉獻而奉於祭司之物、必歸於祭司、
