和亚伯兰同行的罗得也有牛群、羊群和帐篷。

悉帕给雅各生了一个儿子。利亚说：“真幸运！”她便给孩子取名叫迦得。

以色列的长子是吕便，吕便的子孙有哈诺族、法路族、希斯伦族和迦米族，共登记了四万三千七百三十人。

我要带领以色列人返回他们的草场，让他们在迦密和巴珊吃草，在以法莲和基列的山上吃得饱足。

雅谢和基列境内所有的城邑；亚扪人的一半领土，直到拉巴附近的亚罗珥；

罗得举目眺望，看见整个约旦河平原，远至琐珥，水源充足。在耶和华还没有毁灭所多玛和蛾摩拉之前，那地方就好像耶和华的伊甸园，又像埃及。于是，罗得选了整个约旦河平原，向东迁移，他们便分开了。

迦南的饥荒很严重，羊群没有草吃，所以我们到这里来寄居，求你准许仆人们住在歌珊。”

南边是吕便营区及其旗号。吕便人的首领是示丢珥的儿子以利苏，率领四万六千五百人。在吕便支派旁边安营的是西缅支派，首领是苏利沙代的儿子示路蔑，率领五万九千三百人。然后是迦得支派，首领是丢珥的儿子以利雅萨，率领四万五千六百五十人。

耶和华啊，求你用你的杖牧放属于你的羊群，就是你的子民。他们独自居住在丛林中，住在肥沃的田园间。愿他们像从前一样在巴珊和基列吃草。

凡属世界的，如肉体的私欲、眼目的私欲和今生的骄傲都不是从父那里来的，而是从世界来的。

利亚怀孕生了一个儿子，给孩子取名叫吕便。她说：“耶和华看见了我的痛苦，现在我丈夫一定会爱我。”

这时候亚伯兰已经拥有很多牲畜和金银。

同行的还有许多外族人和大群的牛羊。

他们过了约旦河，在谷中亚罗珥城南面安营，又经过迦得前往雅谢。
