迦得子孙，按着家族，属洗分的，有洗分家族；属哈基的，有哈基家族；属书尼的，有书尼家族；属阿斯尼的，有阿斯尼家族；属以利的，有以利家族；属亚律的，有亚律家族；属亚列利的，有亚列利家族。这些就是迦得子孙的各家族，按着他们各家族被数点的，共有四万零五百人。

和亚伯兰同行的罗得，也有羊群、牛群和帐棚。

利亚的婢女悉帕给雅各生了一个儿子。利亚说：“我真幸运。”给他起名叫迦得。

以色列的长子流本：流本的子孙，属哈诺的，有哈诺家族；属法路的，有法路家族；属希斯伦的，有希斯伦家族；属迦米的，有迦米家族。这些是流本的家族；他们被数点的，共有四万三千七百三十人。

我必领以色列回到它的牧场，它必在迦密和巴珊吃草，又在以法莲山地和基列地吃得饱足。

他们的境界包括雅谢和基列所有的城，以及亚扪人的一半土地，直到拉巴前面的亚罗珥；

罗得举目，看见约旦河整个平原，直到琐珥，都有水灌溉；在耶和华毁灭所多玛和蛾摩拉之前，这地好像耶和华的园子，也像埃及地一样。罗得选择了约旦河整个平原，于是向东移动，他们就彼此分开了。

他们又对法老说：“我们来是要在这地寄居，因为迦南地的饥荒严重，你仆人们的羊群没有草吃，所以，现在求你容许你仆人住在歌珊地。”

“在南方，按着队伍，是流本营的旗号；流本人的领袖是示丢珥的儿子以利蓿。他的队伍被数点的，共有四万六千五百人。在他旁边安营的，是西缅支派；西缅人的领袖是苏利沙代的儿子示路蔑。他的队伍被数点的，共有五万九千三百人。又有迦得支派；迦得人的领袖是丢珥的儿子以利雅萨。他的队伍被数点的，共有四万五千六百五十人。

求你用你的杖牧放你的子民，就是你产业的羊群，他们安然独居在树林里，在佳美的田园中；愿他们在巴珊和基列得着牧养，像古时一样。

原来世上的一切，就如肉体的私欲，眼目的私欲和今生的骄傲，都不是出于父，而是从世界来的。

利亚怀孕，生了一个儿子，就给他起名叫流本，因为她说：“耶和华看见了我的苦情，现在我的丈夫必爱我了。”

亚伯兰有很多牲畜和金银。

又有混杂多族的一群人和他们一同上去；他们还带着羊群牛群和无数的牲畜同去。
