“‘ Your western boundary will be the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. This will be your boundary on the west.

Your western border will be the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. That will be your border on the west.

“ For the western border, you shall have the Great Sea and its coast. This shall be your western border.

Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds— like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea. (niv)

Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates— all the Hittite country— to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. (niv)

Ashdod, its surrounding settlements and villages; and Gaza, its settlements and villages, as far as the Wadi of Egypt and the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. (niv)

Remember how I have allotted as an inheritance for your tribes all the land of the nations that remain— the nations I conquered— between the Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea in the west. (niv)
