“ The appointed duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest is the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the daily grain offering, the anointing oil, the oversight of all the tabernacle, of all that is in it, with the sanctuary and its furnishings.”

“ Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest, is to have charge of the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the regular grain offering and the anointing oil. He is to be in charge of the entire tabernacle and everything in it, including its holy furnishings and articles.”

“ Eleazar the priest will be in charge of the olive oil for the light. He is the son of Aaron. Eleazar will be in charge of the sweet- smelling incense. He will be in charge of the regular grain offering and the anointing oil. He will be in charge of the entire holy tent. He will also be in charge of everything in it. That includes all the things that belong to the tent.”

“ And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall have charge of the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the regular grain offering, and the anointing oil, with the oversight of the whole tabernacle and all that is in it, of the sanctuary and its vessels.”

“ Eleazar son of Aaron the priest will be responsible for the oil of the lampstand, the fragrant incense, the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil. In fact, Eleazar will be responsible for the entire Tabernacle and everything in it, including the sanctuary and its furnishings.”

“ Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has oversight of the lamp oil, the fragrant incense, the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil. He has oversight of the entire tabernacle and everything in it, the holy objects and their utensils.”

“ Now the responsibility of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest is the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the continual grain offering, and the anointing oil— the responsibility of all the tabernacle and everything that is in it, with the sanctuary and its furnishings.”

And the charge of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the continual meal- offering, and the anointing oil, the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, the sanctuary, and the furniture thereof.

“ Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has oversight of the lamp oil, the fragrant incense, the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil. He has oversight of the entire tabernacle and everything in it, the holy objects and their utensils.”

And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest[ pertaineth] the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil,[ and] the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein[ is], in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.

“ The appointed responsibility of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest is for the oil for the light, and the spiced incense, and the daily grain offering, and the anointing oil; he also has the appointed responsibility over all the tabernacle with all that is in it, over the sanctuary and over all its furnishings.”

“ The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”

“ Command the children of Israel that they bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to make the lamps burn continually.

For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

“ Also take for yourself quality spices— five hundred shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much sweet-smelling cinnamon( two hundred and fifty shekels), two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling cane,five hundred shekels of cassia, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil.And you shall make from these a holy anointing oil, an ointment compounded according to the art of the perfumer. It shall be a holy anointing oil.With it you shall anoint the tabernacle of meeting and the ark of the Testimony;the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense;the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the laver and its base.You shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them must be holy.And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister to Me as priests.“ And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations.It shall not be poured on man’s flesh; nor shall you make any other like it, according to its composition. It is holy, and it shall be holy to you.Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on an outsider, shall be cut off from his people.’”And the Lord said to Moses:“ Take sweet spices, stacte and onycha and galbanum, and pure frankincense with these sweet spices; there shall be equal amounts of each.You shall make of these an incense, a compound according to the art of the perfumer, salted, pure, and holy.And you shall beat some of it very fine, and put some of it before the Testimony in the tabernacle of meeting where I will meet with you. It shall be most holy to you.But as for the incense which you shall make, you shall not make any for yourselves, according to its composition. It shall be to you holy for the Lord.Whoever makes any like it, to smell it, he shall be cut off from his people.”

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest was to be chief over the leaders of the Levites, with oversight of those who kept charge of the sanctuary.

One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight.With the one lamb shall be one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering.And the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; and you shall offer with it the grain offering and the drink offering, as in the morning, for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.

“ And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

He also made the holy anointing oil and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the perfumer.

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

“ This is the offering of Aaron and his sons, which they shall offer to the Lord, beginning on the day when he is anointed: one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a daily grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it at night.

but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly;

and the anointing oil and sweet incense for the holy place. According to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
