After that, the Levites came to do their work at the tent of meeting under the supervision of Aaron and his sons. They did with the Levites just as the Lord commanded Moses.

After that, the Levites came to do their work at the tent of meeting. They worked under the direction of Aaron and his sons. And so Moses and Aaron and the whole community of Israel did with the Levites just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron and his sons; as the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.

After that the Levites went into the Tabernacle to perform their duties, assisting Aaron and his sons. So they carried out all the commands that the Lord gave Moses concerning the Levites.

利未人被洁净、当作摇祭献上以后，就可以进会幕司职，

利未祭司起来为民众祝福，他们的祷告得蒙垂听，达到天上的圣所。

希西迦分派祭司和利未人的班次，使他们各司其职，献上燔祭和平安祭，在耶和华殿门内事奉，称谢、颂赞耶和华。

二月十四日，他们宰了逾越节的羊羔。祭司和利未人觉得惭愧，就洁净自己，把燔祭带到耶和华的殿里，然后照上帝的仆人摩西的律法照常供职。祭司从利未人手中接过血，洒在坛上。因为会众中间有许多人没有洁净自己，利未人就为所有不洁之人宰逾越节的羊羔献给耶和华。

他的众官员也自愿为民众、祭司和利未人捐献。管理上帝殿的希勒迦、撒迦利亚和耶歇献出两千六百只羊羔和三百头牛，给祭司做逾越节的祭牲。利未人的首领歌楠雅和他的两个兄弟示玛雅和拿坦业，及哈沙比雅、耶利、约撒拔献出五千只羊羔和五百头牛，给利未人做逾越节的祭牲。一切都准备好后，依照王的吩咐，祭司站在自己的地方，利未人按照班次侍立。利未人宰杀逾越节的羊羔，祭司从他们手中接过血，洒在坛上，又剥去祭牲的皮。他们按照宗族把燔祭分给众人，好使他们按照摩西书上所写的，把祭物献给耶和华。献牛也是这样。他们按规定用火烤逾越节的羊羔，在锅里、罐里和盆里煮圣物，然后迅速分给民众。之后，利未人为自己和祭司预备祭物，因为做祭司的亚伦子孙要继续献燔祭和脂肪一直到晚上。负责歌乐的亚萨子孙依照大卫、亚萨、希幔和王的先见耶杜顿的吩咐，站在自己的岗位上；殿门守卫都看守各门，不必离开工作岗位，因为他们的弟兄利未人为他们预备了祭物。
