大衛將殿的廊子、旁屋、府庫、房頂屋子、內屋、除罪蓋室等的圖樣交給他兒子所羅門；又將他心裏所想的圖樣就是永恆主之殿的院子、四圍所有的貯藏室、上帝之殿的府庫、和分別為聖之物的府庫等的圖樣都交給他；又傳授給他祭司和利未人的班次、永恆主殿裏各樣事務的工作、永恆主殿裏各樣應用的器皿、的圖樣；大衛又秤了金子作各樣應用的金器；又秤了銀子作各樣銀器，足供各樣應用的器皿；又秤了金子作金燈臺和燈，按每一個燈臺和燈適當的重量；又秤了銀子作銀燈臺，按每一個燈臺和燈適當的重量，按照每一個燈臺的用途；又秤了金子作陳設餅的桌子、按每一個桌子適當的重量；又秤了銀子作銀桌子；秤了淨金作肉鍤子、碗、爵；又秤了金子作金碗，按每一個碗適當的重量；又秤了銀子作銀碗，按每一個碗適當的重量；又秤了精鍊的金子作香壇；又秤了金子作基路伯像車的樣子；基路伯張開翅膀，遮掩着永恆主的約櫃。大衛說：『以上這一切書面的話、一切關於圖樣的工作、都是由永恆主的手按在我身上、使我明白的。』

這樣，天上之事的仿本既然必須用這些禮節來潔淨，那天上的本物自然必須用比這些更好的祭獻去潔淨了。
