And whenever the cloud lifted from over the tent, after that the people of Israel set out, and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the people of Israel camped.

Whenever the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the people of Israel would break camp and follow it. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel would set up camp.

Whenever the cloud was lifted up above the tent, the Israelites would set out; at the place where the cloud stopped, there the Israelites camped.

在以色列人所有的旅程中是這樣的：每逢雲彩從帳幕收上去的時候，他們就起程；雲彩若是不收上去，他們就不起程，直到雲彩收上去的日子為止。因為以色列人所有的旅程中，日間有耶和華的雲彩在帳幕上，夜間雲中有火，顯在以色列全家的眼前。

我要教導你，指示你應走的路；我要勸戒你，我的眼睛看顧你。

我就是門，如果有人藉著我進來，就必定得救，並且可以出、可以入，也可以找到草場。

看門的給他開門，羊也聽他的聲音；他按著名字呼叫自己的羊，領牠們出來。他把自己的羊全都領出來以後，就走在前頭，羊也跟隨他，因為認得他的聲音。牠們決不會跟隨陌生人，反而逃避他，因為不認得陌生人的聲音。”

以色列人從耶和華的山起行，行了三天的路程，耶和華的約櫃在他們前面行了三天的路程，為他們尋找安息的地方。他們拔營起行的時候，日間總有耶和華的雲彩在他們上頭。

你要以你的訓言引領我，以後還要接我到榮耀裡去。

耶和華說：“我必親自與你同去，也必給你安息。”摩西對他說：“你若是不親自與我們同去，就不要把我們從這裡領上去。

第二年二月二十日，雲彩從法櫃的帳幕收上去的時候，以色列人就從西奈曠野按站起行；雲彩在巴蘭曠野停住了。

他們必不飢餓，也不口渴，炎熱和太陽必不傷害他們，因為那憐憫他們的，要引領他們，帶領他們到水泉的旁邊。

以色列的牧者啊！帶領約瑟好像帶領羊群的啊！求你留心聽；坐在基路伯上面的啊！求你顯出榮光。在以法蓮、便雅憫和瑪拿西面前，求你施展你的大能，前來拯救我們。
