When the cloud lifted from its place above the tent, the Israelites started out. Where the cloud settled, the Israelites camped.

And whenever the cloud lifted from over the tent, after that the people of Israel set out, and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the people of Israel camped.

Whenever the cloud lifted from over the sacred tent, the people of Israel would break camp and follow it. And wherever the cloud settled, the people of Israel would set up camp.

Whenever the cloud was lifted up above the tent, the Israelites would set out; at the place where the cloud stopped, there the Israelites camped.

Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent, afterward the sons of Israel would set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the sons of Israel would camp.

每逢雲彩從帳幕升上去，以色列人就起程前行；雲彩若不升上去，他們就不起程，直等到雲彩升上去。在他們所行的路上，在以色列全家的眼前，白天，耶和華的雲彩在帳幕上，黑夜，有火在雲彩中。

我要教導你，指示你當行的路，我要定睛在你身上勸戒你。

我就是門，凡從我進來的，必得安全，並且可進出，找到草吃。

看門的給他開門，羊也聽他的聲音。他按着名叫自己的羊，把羊領出來。當他把自己的羊都放出來，就走在前面，羊也跟着他，因為牠們認得他的聲音。羊絕不跟陌生人，反而會逃走，因為不認得陌生人的聲音。」

以色列人離開耶和華的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和華的約櫃在前面行了三天的路程，為他們尋找安歇的地方。他們拔營往前行，日間有耶和華的雲彩在他們上面。

你要以你的訓言引導我，以後你必接我到榮耀裏。

耶和華說：「我必親自去，讓你安心。」摩西說：「你若不親自去，就不要把我們從這裏領上去。

第二年二月二十日，雲彩從法櫃的帳幕上升。以色列人離開西奈的曠野，一段一段地往前行，雲彩停在巴蘭的曠野。

他們不飢不渴，炎熱和烈日必不傷害他們；因為憐憫他們的必引導他們，領他們到水泉旁邊。

領約瑟如領羊羣的以色列牧者啊，求你側耳而聽！在基路伯之上坐寶座的啊，求你發出光來！在以法蓮、便雅憫、瑪拿西面前求你施展你的大能，拯救我們。
