Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.

It didn’t matter whether the cloud stayed above the holy tent for two days or a month or a year. The Israelites would remain in camp. They wouldn’t start out. But when the cloud lifted, they would start out.

Whether it was two days, or a month, or a longer time, that the cloud continued over the tabernacle, abiding there, the people of Israel remained in camp and did not set out, but when it lifted they set out.

一心賴耶和華、勿恃己之明哲、凡事認之、彼必平直爾途、

以色列人循耶和華所諭摩西之命、而竣諸工、

爾曾假手摩西亞倫、導爾民如羣羊兮、

以色列族、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命而行、

摩西亞倫暨以色列會眾、如是待利未人、悉遵耶和華命、

爾繞此山已久、可轉而北行、宜諭民曰、爾同族以掃子孫、居西珥山、爾過其境、彼必畏懼、爾其慎之、

爾為我上帝、尚其訓我以行爾志、爾靈乃善、祈導我於安平之地兮、

與使徒同集時、命之曰、勿去耶路撒冷、以待父所許、即爾嘗聞於吾者、

上帝未見雅各家有愆尤、以色列有乖謬、彼之上帝耶和華與之偕、其中有歡然呼王之聲焉、上帝導之出埃及、有力可擬於兕、

爾必以訓迪我、後則以榮接我兮、

此上帝永為我上帝、作我先導、直至於死兮、
