爾弟遇害之日、爾不當旁觀、猶大族喪敗之日、爾不當欣喜、彼遭難之日、爾不當口出傲慢之言、

You should not gloat over your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.

現在多國的民集合起來，攻擊你，說：‘願錫安被蹂躪，願我們親眼看見錫安遭報應。’”

你怎樣因以色列家的產業荒涼而歡樂，我也必照樣待你。西珥山啊！你和以東全地都必荒涼。他們就知道我是耶和華。’”

嘲笑窮人的就是辱罵造他的主；幸災樂禍的必難免受懲罰。

你們不要多說驕傲的話，也不要口出狂妄之言，因為耶和華是全知的神，人的一切行為他都鑒察。

我能數算我全身的骨頭，他們卻瞪著眼看我。

那些逞驕傲，態度輕慢，說話狂傲攻擊義人的，願他們說謊的嘴唇啞而無聲。

我親眼看見那些窺伺我的人遭報，我親耳聽見那些起來攻擊我的惡人受罰。

我的神必以慈愛迎接我；神必叫我看見我的仇敵遭報。

“你這個想拆毀聖所，三日之內又把它建造起來的，救救自己吧！如果你是神的兒子，從十字架上下來吧！”祭司長、經學家和長老也同樣譏笑他，說：“他救了別人，卻不能救自己。如果他是以色列的王，現在可以從十字架上下來，我們就信他。他信靠神；如果神喜悅他，就讓神現在救他吧，因為他說自己是神的兒子。”

耶穌走近耶路撒冷的時候，看見了城，就為城哀哭，

你的仇敵跌倒的時候，你不要歡喜；他絆倒的時候，你心裡不可歡樂。恐怕耶和華看見了，就不喜悅，把他的怒氣從仇敵的身上，轉到你的身上。

我的仇敵啊！不要因我的遭遇而高興；我雖然跌倒了，卻必起來；我雖然坐在黑暗裡，耶和華卻必作我的光。我要擔當耶和華的忿怒，因為我得罪了他，直到他審斷我的案件，為我主持公道；他必把我領出來，到光明中去，我就得見他的公義。我的仇敵看見了，就必蒙羞，就是那曾經對我說：“耶和華你的神在哪裡”的人，我必親眼看見他遭報；那時，他必被人踐踏，好像街上的泥土。

你藉著你的臣僕辱罵主；你又說：我率領我眾多的戰車上了群山的高峰，到了黎巴嫩極深之處。我砍伐其中高大的香柏樹和佳美的松樹；我去到極高之處，進入肥田般的樹林。

主耶和華這樣說：因為你手舞足蹈，心存輕蔑，因以色列地的遭遇而歡喜。所以我必伸手攻擊你，把你交給列國作掠物；我必從萬族中剪除你，使你從列邦中滅亡；我必消滅你，你就知道我是耶和華。’”

以東人哪，烏斯地的居民哪，歡喜快樂吧！這杯也要傳到你那裡，你必喝醉以致赤身露體。

照樣，舌頭雖然是個小肢體，卻會說誇大的話。試看，星星之火，可以燎原；

這些人常發牢騷，怨天尤人，順著自己的私慾行事，口說誇張的話，為了利益就不惜阿諛奉承。

龍又給了那獸一張說誇大和褻瀆話的嘴巴，也給了牠權柄可以任意而行四十二個月。

但主必笑他，因為知道他遭報的日子快要來到。

我若因恨我的人遭災禍而歡喜，或因他遇患難而高興；

因為他們說虛妄誇大的話，用肉體的私慾和邪蕩的事，引誘那些剛剛逃脫了錯謬生活的人。

他救我脫離了一切患難；我親眼看見了我的仇敵滅亡。
