爾弟遇害之日、爾不當旁觀、猶大族喪敗之日、爾不當欣喜、彼遭難之日、爾不當口出傲慢之言、

You should not gloat over your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.

現在，許多國家聚集攻擊你，說：「讓錫安被玷污！讓我們親眼看到！」

你怎樣因以色列家的地業荒涼而喜樂，我也要照你所做的對待你。西珥山哪，你和以東全地都必荒涼；人就知道我是耶和華。」

譏笑窮乏人的，是蔑視造他的主；幸災樂禍的，難免受罰。

不要誇口說驕傲的話，也不要口出狂妄的言語，因耶和華是有知識的神，人的行為被他衡量。

我數遍我的骨頭；他們瞪着眼看我。

那撒謊的人逞驕傲輕慢，出狂妄的話攻擊義人，願他的嘴啞而無言。

我的眼睛看見我的仇敵遭報，我的耳朵聽見那些起來攻擊我的惡人受罰。

我的神要以慈愛迎接我，神要叫我看見我的仇敵遭報。

說：「你這拆毀殿、三日又建造起來的，救救你自己吧！如果你是神的兒子，就從十字架上下來呀！」眾祭司長、文士和長老也同樣嘲笑他，說：「他救了別人，不能救自己。他是以色列的王，現在從十字架上下來，我們就信他。他倚靠神，神若願意，現在就來救他，因為他曾說『我是神的兒子』。」

耶穌快到耶路撒冷，看見那城，就為它哀哭，

你的仇敵跌倒，你不要歡喜，他傾倒，你的心不要快樂；恐怕耶和華看見就不喜悅，將怒氣從仇敵身上轉過來。

我的仇敵啊，不要向我誇耀。我雖跌倒，仍要起來；雖坐在黑暗裏，耶和華卻作我的光。我要承受耶和華的惱怒，直到他為我辯護，為我伸冤，因我得罪了他；他要領我進入光明，我必得見他的公義。那時我的仇敵看見這事就羞愧，他曾對我說：「耶和華－你的神在哪裏？」我必親眼見他遭報，現在，他必被踐踏，如同街上的泥土。

你藉臣僕辱罵主說：我率領許多戰車登上高山，到黎巴嫩的頂端；我要砍伐其中高大的香柏樹和上好的松樹。我必上到極高之處，進入茂盛的森林裏。

主耶和華如此說：因你們拍手頓足，幸災樂禍，藐視以色列地，所以，看哪，我要伸手攻擊你，把你交給列國作為擄物。我必從萬民中剪除你，從列邦中消滅你。我必除滅你，你就知道我是耶和華。」

住烏斯地的以東啊，儘管歡喜快樂，苦杯必傳到你那裏；你要喝醉，裸露自己。

同樣，舌頭是小肢體，卻能說大話。看哪，最小的火能點燃最大的樹林。

這些人喜出怨言，責怪他人，隨從自己的情慾而行，口說誇大的話，為自己的利益諂媚人。

龍又賜給那隻獸說誇大褻瀆話的口，又賜給牠權柄可以任意行事四十二個月。

但主必笑他，因見他受罰的日子將要來到。

「我若見恨我的遇難就歡喜，見他遭災就高興；

他們說虛妄誇大的話，用肉體的情慾和淫蕩的事引誘那些剛脫離錯謬生活的人。

他從一切的急難中把我救出來，我的眼睛也看見了我的仇敵遭報。
