Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright.

Foolish people laugh at making things right when they sin. But honest people try to do the right thing.

Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance.

Fools make fun of guilt, but the godly acknowledge it and seek reconciliation.

Fools mock at making reparation, but there is goodwill among the upright.

Fools mock at sin, But among the upright there is goodwill.

Fools mock at sin, But among the upright there is favor.

A trespass- offering mocketh fools; But among the upright there is good will.

Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous[ there is] favour.

It is a fool’s pleasure to do wickedness, but wisdom is a man of understanding’s pleasure.

Good understanding wins favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard.

“ So is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, and says,‘ I have done nothing wrong.’

For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.

“ How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?

So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

A good man shall obtain favor from Yahweh, but he will condemn a man of wicked plans.

What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water,Who goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men?For he has said,‘ It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.’

how much less one who is abominable and corrupt, a man who drinks iniquity like water!
