守財奴的飯，你不要吃，也不要貪戀他的美味；

不要吃吝嗇人的飯，不可貪圖他的美味。

不可吃吝嗇人的飯，也不可貪戀他的美食。

不可喫小心眼兒人的飯；不可貪好他的美味；

你不要吃吝嗇人的餅，也不要貪戀他的美食；

勿食眈眈者之餅、勿貪其珍饈、

宴友而睚眦、勿與共食、貪其珍錯。

勿坐吝嗇人之席、勿貪其珍饈、

Do not eat the food of a begrudging host, do not crave his delicacies;

Don’t eat the food of anyone who doesn’t want to share it. Don’t long for his fancy food.

Do not eat the bread of a man who is stingy; do not desire his delicacies,

Don’t eat with people who are stingy; don’t desire their delicacies.

Don’t eat a stingy person’s bread, and don’t desire his choice food,

Do not eat the bread of a selfish person; Or desire his delicacies;

Do not eat the bread of a miser, Nor desire his delicacies;

Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, Neither desire thou his dainties:

不要使我的心偏向邪恶的事，以致我和作恶的人一同行恶；也不叫我吃他们的美食。

你要谨慎，不可心起恶念，说：‘第七年的豁免年快到了’，你就冷眼看你贫穷的弟兄，什么都不给他。他若为你的缘故求告耶和华，你就有罪了。

不可贪恋长官的美食，因为那是欺哄人的食物。

但以理却立志，不以王的膳和王所饮的酒玷污自己，于是恳求太监长容他不使自己玷污。神使但以理在太监长眼前蒙恩，得怜悯。太监长对但以理说：“我惧怕我主我王，他已经派给你们的饮食，何必让他见你们的面貌比你们同年龄的少年憔悴呢？这样，你们就使我的头在王那里不保了。”

眼目仁慈的必蒙福，因他将食物分给贫寒人。

难道我的东西不可随我的意思用吗？因为我作好人，你就眼红了吗？’

守财奴想要急速发财，却不知穷乏必临到他身上。

你中间柔顺娇嫩的妇人，甚至因柔顺娇嫩脚不肯踏地的妇人，也必冷眼恶待她怀中的丈夫和自己的儿女。

奸淫、贪婪、邪恶、诡诈、淫荡、嫉妒、毁谤、骄傲、狂妄。
