Even though what they say can be charming, don’t believe them. That’s because seven things God hates fill that person’s heart.

For even your brothers and the household of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you, Even they have called aloud after you. Do not believe them, though they say nice things to you.”

Do not drag me away with the wicked And with those who practice injustice, Who speak peace with their neighbors, While evil is in their hearts.

Then if anyone says to you,‘ Behold, here is the Christ,’ or‘ He is over here,’ do not believe him.

They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves committing wrongdoing.Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me,” declares the Lord.Therefore this is what the Lord of armies says:“ Behold, I will refine them and put them to the test; For what else can I do, because of the daughter of My people?Their tongue is a deadly arrow; It speaks deceit; With his mouth one speaks peace to his neighbor, But inwardly he sets an ambush for him.

They speak lies to one another; They speak with flattering lips and a double heart.

Do not trust in a neighbor; Do not have confidence in a close friend. Guard your lips From her who lies in your arms.
