不懼可驚之災忽至、亦不懼惡人群來加害、亦不懼惡人群來加害或作禍患臨及惡人爾亦不懼

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,

Don’t be terrified by sudden trouble. Don’t be afraid when sinners are destroyed.

Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes,

You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked,

Be not afraid of sudden fear, Neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh:

“ Yet if you devote your heart to him and stretch out your hands to him,if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,then, free of fault, you will lift up your face; you will stand firm and without fear. (niv)

He said to his disciples,“ Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” (niv)

How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors! (niv)

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. (niv)

Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.The disciples went and woke him, saying,“ Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”He replied,“ You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. (niv)

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. (niv)

But not a hair of your head will perish.Stand firm, and you will win life.“ When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.“ There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (niv)

when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you. (niv)

“ So when you see standing in the holy place‘ the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel— let the reader understand— (niv)

When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.” (niv)

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. (niv)
