神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他豈會延遲不給他們伸冤嗎？我告訴你們，他很快就要給他們伸冤。然而，人子來的時候，能在世上找到這樣的信德嗎？」

耶和華啊，求你用手救我脫離世人，脫離那只在今生有福分的世人！你以財寶充滿他們的肚腹，他們因有兒女就滿足，將其餘的財物留給他們的孩子。

他必為百姓中困苦的人伸冤，拯救貧窮之輩，壓碎那欺壓人的人。

因為，我屢次告訴你們，現在又流淚告訴你們：許多人行事是基督十字架的仇敵。他們的結局就是滅亡。他們的神明是自己的肚腹；他們以自己的羞辱為光榮，專以地上的事為念。

第一個人是出於地，是屬於塵土；第二個人是出於天。那屬塵土的怎樣，凡屬塵土的也都怎樣；屬天的怎樣，凡屬天的也都怎樣。

耶和華啊，你是伸冤的神；伸冤的神啊，求你發出光來！審判世界的主啊，求你挺身而立，使驕傲的人受應得的報應！耶和華啊，惡人誇勝要到幾時呢？要到幾時呢？他們咆哮，說狂妄的話，作惡的人全都誇耀自己。耶和華啊，他們強壓你的百姓，苦害你的產業。他們殺死寡婦和寄居的人，又殺害孤兒。

你已經察看，顧念人的憂患和愁苦，放在你的手中。無倚無靠的人把自己交託給你，你向來是幫助孤兒的。

不要讓受欺壓的人蒙羞回去；要使困苦貧窮的人讚美你的名。

亞伯拉罕說：『孩子啊，你該回想你生前享過福，拉撒路也同樣受過苦，如今他在這裏得安慰，你卻受痛苦。
