My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.

I will look with favor on the faithful people in the land. They will live with me. Those whose lives are without blame will serve me.

I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me.

I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended.For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. (niv)

It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. (niv)

“ Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? (niv)

“ Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. (niv)

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. (niv)

When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive. (niv)

who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; (niv)

When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. (niv)

Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. (niv)

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—they do no wrong but follow his ways. (niv)

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; (niv)

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. (niv)
