He clothed himself with cursing as his coat; may it soak into his body like water, like oil into his bones!

自以詛為服。斯服何由脫。如水亦如油。浸心復沁骨。

He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil.

They cursed others as easily as they put on clothes. Cursing was as natural to them as getting a drink of water or putting olive oil on their bodies.

Cursing is as natural to him as his clothing, or the water he drinks, or the rich food he eats.

He wore cursing like his coat— let it enter his body like water and go into his bones like oil.

And when he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and has broken faith with her husband, the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.

The Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”

Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for“ God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

“ Because he knew no contentment in his belly, he will not let anything in which he delights escape him.There was nothing left after he had eaten; therefore his prosperity will not endure.In the fullness of his sufficiency he will be in distress; the hand of everyone in misery will come against him.To fill his belly to the full, God will send his burning anger against him and rain it upon him into his body.
