He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil.

They cursed others as easily as they put on clothes. Cursing was as natural to them as getting a drink of water or putting olive oil on their bodies.

既令婦飲水、若婦果被玷污、獲罪於夫、則此致詛之水、必於其腹中為苦水、使其腹脹股爛、於其民中為人所指以咒詛者、

今當去此一切、以及忿怒、怨恨、暴戾、謗讟並口中淫穢之詞、

人子將逝、如經所載、惟賣人子者禍矣、其人不生為幸、

我以德善為衣衣之、以公義為袍為冕、

堪承此役與使徒之職、蓋猶大已棄此職而往其所矣、

彼以不義之賞購田、後、身仆腹裂、其腸盡流、

彼以惡為食、入口覺甘、藏於舌下、愛戀不舍、久含於口、一入腹中、即變為苦、在其腹中、成為虺蛇之毒、其併吞之貨財必吐出、天主使之吐自腹中、吸飲蛇毒、虺之毒氣必傷其命、

爾為少者、當服老者、老者或作長老皆以謙卑為衣衣之、互相順服、經云、驕傲者、天主拒之、謙卑者、天主賜之以恩、

心不覺安、雖得所欲、難保不失、或作心貪不知足雖得所欲難以保命其食一無所留、其財不永、當有餘之時、必遇困厄、必遇困厄或作必至窄狹之境人所遇之難、必加於其身、人所遇之難必加於其身或作受其欺壓者咸來攻之彼將充腹、天主向之震怒、正欲食時、天主雨災於其身、
