While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.

同样，现在你们有忧愁，但到我再见你们的时候，你们的心必欢喜，而且这份喜乐是谁也夺不去的。

他喜欢咒诅人，愿咒诅临到他；他不喜欢祝福人，愿祝福远离他。

上帝对巴兰说：“你不可跟他们去，也不可咒诅那民族，因为那民族是蒙福的。”

所以主耶和华说：“看啊，我的仆人必有吃有喝，你们却要饥渴交加；我的仆人必欢喜，你们却要受羞辱；我的仆人必欢喜快乐，扬声歌唱，你们却要伤心欲绝，嚎啕大哭。我的选民必用你们的名字作咒诅，主耶和华必杀死你们，给祂的仆人另起名字。因此，在地上求福祉的人都必向信实的上帝祈求，在地上起誓的人都必凭信实的上帝起誓。因为过去的苦难已经被遗忘，从我眼前消失了。

我奉命祝福，祂已赐福，我不能改变。

没有邪术能害雅各，没有咒语可伤以色列。时候一到，人们必谈论雅各，谈论以色列，说，‘看啊，上帝的作为何等伟大！’

王却说：“洗鲁雅的儿子啊，不要管我的事。如果是耶和华叫他来咒骂我，谁能干涉他呢？”大卫对亚比筛和他所有臣仆说：“我的亲生儿子尚且要取我的命，何况这个便雅悯人呢？由他去吧！因为这是耶和华的意思。也许耶和华会体察我的困苦，因我今天所受的咒骂而赐福给我。”于是，大卫和随从继续赶路，示每也沿着对面的山坡边走边骂，向他们扔石头，撒灰尘。

定睛仰望为我们的信心创始成终的耶稣。祂为了摆在前面的喜乐，就轻看羞辱，忍受了十字架的痛苦，如今已坐在上帝宝座的右边。
