任憑人謗詛。但求主輔翼。若輩終承羞。爾僕應怡悅。

While they curse, may you bless; may those who attack me be put to shame, but may your servant rejoice.

They may curse me. But may you bless me. May those who attack me be put to shame. But may I be filled with joy.

Let them curse, but you will bless! They arise and are put to shame, but your servant will be glad!

你們現在也是憂愁，但我要再見你們，你們的心就喜樂了；這喜樂也沒有人能奪去。

他愛咒罵，咒罵就臨到他；他不喜愛福樂，福樂就與他遠離！

神對巴蘭說：「你不可同他們去，也不可咒詛那民，因為那民是蒙福的。」

所以，主耶和華如此說：我的僕人必得吃，你們卻飢餓；我的僕人必得喝，你們卻乾渴；我的僕人必歡喜，你們卻蒙羞。我的僕人因心中高興歡呼，你們卻因心中憂愁哀哭，又因心裏憂傷哀號。你們必留下自己的名，為我選民指着賭咒。主耶和華必殺你們，另起別名稱呼他的僕人。這樣，在地上為自己求福的，必憑真實的神求福；在地上起誓的，必指真實的神起誓。因為，從前的患難已經忘記，也從我眼前隱藏了。

我奉命祝福；神也曾賜福，此事我不能翻轉。

斷沒有法術可以害雅各，也沒有占卜可以害以色列。現在必有人論及雅各，就是論及以色列說：神為他行了何等的大事！

王說：「洗魯雅的兒子，我與你們有何關涉呢？他咒罵是因耶和華吩咐他說：『你要咒罵大衛。』如此，誰敢說你為甚麼這樣行呢？」大衛又對亞比篩和眾臣僕說：「我親生的兒子尚且尋索我的性命，何況這便雅憫人呢？由他咒罵吧！因為這是耶和華吩咐他的。或者耶和華見我遭難，為我今日被這人咒罵，就施恩與我。」於是大衛和跟隨他的人往前行走。示每在大衛對面山坡，一面行走一面咒罵，又拿石頭砍他，拿土揚他。

仰望為我們信心創始成終的耶穌。他因那擺在前面的喜樂，就輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，便坐在神寶座的右邊。
