求主依主之應許扶助我、俾我生存、不至失望而羞愧、

祈主恩佑。莫令望觖。

Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.

My God, keep me going as you have promised. Then I will live. Don’t let me lose all hope.

Uphold me according to your promise, that I may live, and let me not be put to shame in my hope!

Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed.

for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. (niv)

though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. (niv)

Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. (niv)

“ Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations. (niv)

But Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting. (niv)

When I said,“ My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. (niv)

I cling to you; your right hand upholds me. (niv)

As Scripture says,“ Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (niv)

Because of my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. (niv)

Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.As it is written:“ See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (niv)
