Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.

As a vine bears a lot of fruit, so may your wife have many children by you. May they sit around your table like young olive trees.

“‘你母亲像葡萄园中的一棵葡萄树，栽在溪水旁，枝繁叶茂，硕果累累，因为水源充沛。

我就像上帝殿中的一棵橄榄树，枝繁叶茂，我永永远远信靠上帝的慈爱。

你当喝自己池中的水，饮自己井里的活水。你的泉水岂可外流？你的河水怎可溢到街上？这些要专属于你，不可与外人共享。要使你的泉源蒙福，要爱你年轻时所娶的妻。

愿我们的儿子年轻时像茁壮的树木，我们的女儿像宫殿中精雕的柱子。

“约瑟是多结果子的枝条，长在水泉旁，他的枝条探出墙外。

他要长出嫩枝，他要像橄榄树一样荣美，如黎巴嫩的香柏树一般芳香。他要归回，住在我的荫下。他要茂盛如五谷，荣美如葡萄树，声名远扬如黎巴嫩的美酒。

你这从野生的橄榄树上砍下来的枝子，尚且可以违反自然，被接到好橄榄树上，何况原来的枝子被接回到原来的树上呢？

袋中装满了箭的人有福了！他们在城门与仇敌争论时，必不致蒙羞。

耶和华曾称他们为枝繁叶茂、果实佳美的橄榄树，但现在祂要在呼啸的风暴中把它点燃，烧毁它的枝条。
