你仆人的子孙要长存；他们的后裔要坚立在你面前。

他的政权与平安必加增无穷。他必在大卫的宝座上治理他的国，以公平公义使国坚定稳固，从今直到永远。万军之耶和华的热心必成就这事。

大卫既是先知，又晓得神曾向他起誓，要从他的后裔中立一位坐在他的宝座上，

愿耶和华叫你们和你们的子孙日见加增。

“倘若他的子孙离弃我的律法，不照我的典章行，背弃我的律例，不遵守我的诫命，我就要用杖责罚他们的过犯，用鞭责罚他们的罪孽。只是我必不将我的慈爱全然收回，也必不叫我的信实废弃。我必不背弃我的约，也不改变我口中所出的。我一次指着自己的圣洁起誓：我决不向大卫说谎！
