Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.

Look and see that no one is on my right side to help me. No one is concerned about me. I have no place of safety. No one cares whether I live or die.

Look to the right and see: there is none who takes notice of me; no refuge remains to me; no one cares for my soul.

I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.

Look to the right and see: no one stands up for me; there is no refuge for me; no one cares about me.

Look to the right and see; For there is no one who regards me favorably; There is no escape for me; No one cares for my soul.

Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul.

Scorn has broken my heart and has left me helpless; I looked for sympathy, but there was none, for comforters, but I found none. (niv)

But David thought to himself,“ One of these days I will be destroyed by the hand of Saul. The best thing I can do is to escape to the land of the Philistines. Then Saul will give up searching for me anywhere in Israel, and I will slip out of his hand.” (niv)

But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; their hope will become a dying gasp.” (niv)

Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me to him? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? Lord, God of Israel, tell your servant.” And the Lord said,“ He will.”Again David asked,“ Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me and my men to Saul?” And the Lord said,“ They will.”So David and his men, about six hundred in number, left Keilah and kept moving from place to place. When Saul was told that David had escaped from Keilah, he did not go there. (niv)

The shepherds will have nowhere to flee, the leaders of the flock no place to escape. (niv)

At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. (niv)

The Ziphites went up to Saul at Gibeah and said,“ Is not David hiding among us in the strongholds at Horesh, on the hill of Hakilah, south of Jeshimon?Now, Your Majesty, come down whenever it pleases you to do so, and we will be responsible for giving him into your hands.” (niv)
