Answer me quickly, Lord, my spirit fails; Do not hide Your face from me, Or I will be the same as those who go down to the pit.

But my enemies are vigorous and strong, And those who wrongfully hate me are many.

For behold, they have set an ambush for my life; Fierce men attack me, Not for my wrongdoing nor for my sin, Lord,

For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in dark places, like those who have long been dead.

After whom has the king of Israel gone out? Whom are you pursuing? A dead dog, a single flea?

He will send from heaven and save me; He rebukes the one who tramples upon me. Selah God will send His favor and His truth.My soul is among lions; I must lie among those who devour, Among sons of mankind whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue is a sharp sword.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

Lord, how my enemies have increased! Many are rising up against me.

Who remembered us in our lowliness, For His faithfulness is everlasting,

Who will bring charges against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies;

Why do You hide Your face And forget our affliction and oppression?For our souls have sunk down into the dust; Our bodies cling to the earth.Rise up, be our help, And redeem us because of Your mercy.
