The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.

Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom. Let all that I am praise the Lord.

They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them.For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities— his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

May all who are godly rejoice in the Lord and praise his holy name!

He has remembered his promise to love and be faithful to Israel. The ends of the earth have seen the victory of our God.Shout to the Lord, all the earth; break out in praise and sing for joy!Sing your praise to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and melodious song,with trumpets and the sound of the ram’s horn. O Israel, praise the Lord! O priests— descendants of Aaron— praise the Lord!O Levites, praise the Lord! All you who fear the Lord, praise the Lord!The Lord be praised from Zion, for he lives here in Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Praise God, all you people of Israel; praise the Lord, the source of Israel’s life.

Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name.

O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done this wondrous thing. Shout for joy, O depths of the earth! Break into song, O mountains and forests and every tree! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob and is glorified in Israel.

After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands.And they were shouting with a great roar,“ Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!”And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living beings. And they fell before the throne with their faces to the ground and worshiped God.They sang,“ Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God.

So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!

The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed.I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honor me before the whole world.

And from the throne came a voice that said,“ Praise our God, all his servants, all who fear him, from the least to the greatest.”Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder:“ Praise the Lord! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.
