The young lions roar for their prey And seek their food from God.

“ Can you hunt the prey for the lioness, Or satisfy the appetite of young lions,When they crouch in their hiding places, And lie in wait in their lair?Who prepares feed for the raven When its young cry to God, And wander about without food?

Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?

and to every animal of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to everything that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so.

Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!

Do not fear, animals of the field, For the pastures of the wilderness have turned green, For the tree has produced its fruit, The fig tree and the vine have yielded in full.
