敬愛主者、主皆保護、惟彼惡人、主悉翦滅、

逆主必受誅。順主靡不昌。

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.

My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me.I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand.My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

You who love the LORD, hate evil! He protects the lives of his faithful ones; he rescues them from the power of the wicked.

Love the LORD, all his faithful ones. The LORD protects the loyal, but fully repays the arrogant.

You have rebuked the nations: You have destroyed the wicked; you have erased their name forever and ever.

The wicked will return to Sheol— all the nations that forget God.

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?

For the LORD loves justice and will not abandon his faithful ones. They are kept safe forever, but the children of the wicked will be destroyed.

For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

You are being guarded by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.You rejoice in this, even though now for a short time, if necessary, you suffer grief in various trialsso that the proven character of your faith— more valuable than gold which, though perishable, is refined by fire— may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.Though you have not seen him, you love him; though not seeing him now, you believe in him, and you rejoice with inexpressible and glorious joy,
