Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Blessed are those who depend on the God of Jacob for help. Blessed are those who put their hope in the Lord their God.

But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the Lord his God,

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in Jehovah his God:

Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,

Happy[ is he] that[ hath] the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope[ is] in the LORD his God:

How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

“ Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall! Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!

For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O Lord, from my youth.

And he said,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him.Then he said,“ Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”And he said to him,“ What is your name?” And he said,“ Jacob.”Then he said,“ Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”Then Jacob asked him,“ Please tell me your name.” But he said,“ Why is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him.

“ And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.

‘ Say to Joseph,“ Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah

who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the shield of your help, and the sword of your triumph! Your enemies shall come fawning to you, and you shall tread upon their backs.”

O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!
